Those four little words that I always seem to find myself saying, “I HAVE NO CLOTHES!”
Last night, I was desperately searching my closet, trying to put together a few outfits for the weekend. My mom was over and she was looking with me and, in true mom fashion she told me, “Your clothes are all beat, let’s run up to Flirt and and see if they have anything.”
Flirt is a women’s boutique right off 202 in Blue Bell. It’s more like a girl’s hangout with lots of cute stuff to buy. A few of the fun girls who work there happen to live in my neighborhood. They reached out to me a few months ago to come check it out and I went in and bought a shirt and a jacket for my dad’s 60th birthday party but I didn’t have time to stay and REALLY shop.
My mom offered to come with me and watch my son and give her opinion while I did a BIG try-on session. It was so fun. It reminded me of when we used to go shopping in high school. It was so nice to have the space to bring my son without having to deal with the craziness of the mall this time of year.
Lisa (who co-owns the boutique with her friend Jackie) was there to help style me…
First up…I needed a Thanksgiving outfit. One of the first things I saw when I walked in were these plaid pants with side snaps. I was praying they fit -and they did.
Then they grabbed me this amazing bodysuit with bell sleeves to pair with it…DONE.
I should mention, everything is very affordable and good quality too (pants $58, bodysuit $32)
Next up was this irresistible teddy coat, hat and bag (all three came home with me)
Then, this awesome cutout turtleneck sweatshirt…three of my favorite things combined! (Got it in grey too)
How about this cozy scarf and sweater with feather detail? L.O.V.E.
I cannot resist any shirt in this army green color <3
One thing on my list that I really wanted was a co-ord jumpsuit…just upped my athleisure game big time.
And last but not least, a little camo sweatshirt with grey joggers because why not?!
This was really just the tip of the iceberg~there was so much more to try on but I had to run because my son was with me and he was so good for about an hour and then we were pushing our luck keeping him out shopping. The store is open until 5pm but you can also make an appointment after hours and someone will stay late to shop with you. (That’s what I am going to do next time) It doesn’t get much more convenient than that!
I am so glad I went to Flirt and now I feel like I have a bunch of things that I can mix and match for everyday and for special occasions.
They are doing some fun stuff on Black Friday (like scratch off coupons with special deals) so check it out this weekend and stock up like I did for the holiday season and make sure you mention Philly Girl’s Guide!
